News Pickerington Nov 5

Pickerington's school levy fails by 256 votes. Cuts come next.

Voters rejected the 0.75% earned-income tax, the district's second try this year. It would have raised about $21 million a year. The district's reduction plan names high school electives and sports teams, on-campus College Credit Plus and middle school band and orchestra. Nothing is cut yet; the board decides at its next meetings.
